Traffic to shift onto new I-94 Business Loop roundabout Friday night; 23rd Avenue closure begins
DICKINSON, N.D. — Crews are expected to complete night work necessary to move traffic from the temporary bypass onto the new Interstate 94 West Business Loop roundabout Friday night.
Drivers should expect a flagging and pilot car operation with a delay of roughly 15 to 20 minutes. The work is expected to begin as early as 8 p.m. and last up to a few hours.
Following the completion of this work, a portion of 23rd Avenue West at the Business Loop intersection will remain closed to finish a segment of the roundabout. This closure is expected to last several weeks.
Substantial project completion is expected by late October 2026, with final pavement striping to follow in June 2027.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation reminds motorists to slow down and use extra caution in work zones.
